Operations research techniques such as mathematical programming, queuing theory, stochastic processes, heuristics, discrete event simulation, system dynamics, etc have shown to be increasingly valuable to aid planning and management of health care systems. We invite all researchers interested in healthcare applications to participate and present at this stream to exploring recent developments and identifying fruitful avenues for further research. Sample topics of interest include as waiting lists and bed capacity, workforce planning and scheduling, health care technology assessment, hospital redesign, patient flow, performance management.
