Renewal of the ASOR Constitution
Commencing in late 2019 the Australian Society of Operations Research has engaged in a process of reviewing and re-drafting its Constitution. ASOR has been assisted in this by the Associations Forum, of which we are a member.
Changes to the constitution will enable ASOR to more fully comply with the current legislation/regulations that apply in Australia to our kind of organisation, and will enable ASOR to put in place more efficient and effective decision-making and membership-oriented processes. This will improve members' experience when engaging with ASOR, and will help ASOR put a maximum amount of effort and resources towards providing activities and services that its members value.
Between 19 October 2020 and 30 November 2020 we offer to members the draft constitution for their information, comment and feedback. Subject to this period of time (the "feedback period") being successfully concluded, the current ASOR National Committee and branch/chapter committees will test members' agreement to this new constitution an ASOR AGM that we will hold on 11 January 2021.
Current members of ASOR are being contacted by email in order to bring their attention to the draft constitution and feedback period. On this page we provide links to:
